Entrepreneurship

Rita Mansour is a trusted financial wealth manager with over thirty years of experience.

about Rita

When Rita Mansour was in her third year of pre-med, she realized she was much more interested in entrepreneurship than medicine. Mansour had always been interested in finance as well as helping people, so a career in financial planning seemed a much better fit. She listened to her internal voice, left medicine and got a degree in business from the University of Toledo.

While still a student at the University, Mansour started a successful promotional products company selling items to sororities and fraternities on campus. She soon realized there were bigger opportunities selling to large organizations. She pitched the idea and was given the contract to start an employee gift shop at the Toledo Hospital. Mansour was the first to sell them branded t-shirts. That successful and innovative idea resulted in her being awarded the Edwin R. Hodge Memorial Entrepreneur Award.

Mansour started her professional career as an advisor at Shearson Lehman Hutton and then, later, moved on to become the Vice President of Investments for Paine Webber. In that role, Mansour served as an investment executive managing wealth of individuals, 401ks, and corporate accounts. From there, Rita went on to become the Regional Managing Director of McDonald Investments. In that role, Mansour and her team managed client assets and Rita also managed the areas of brokerage, private banking and the trust departments.

In 1997, Rita Mansour became an entrepreneur. She branded Mansour Wealth Management and later it became its own legal entity.  Today, she is the Senior Managing Director of Mansour Wealth Management at McDonald Partners LLC. She and her team advise clients across the U.S. Her client list includes professionals, institutions, non-profit organizations and endowments.

She takes care to create customized financial plans including investments, securities, asset allocation, portfolio management, valuation and risk management as well as advanced planning for charitable giving and estate planning. For more than 30 years, people have trusted Rita Mansour with their finances because of her client-centric approach.

Additionally, Rita is the proud recipient of Barron’s Top 100 Female Financial Advisor (2006) and Forbes/SHOOK Top Advisor State of Ohio (2020). Mansour also finds time to volunteer as a board member for several notable organizations including The Toledo Museum of Art, Connect Toledo, The Advisory Council of the Sisters of Notre Dame, Grants Committee for the Greater Toledo Community Foundation, and an Honorary Board Member of the Arts Commission. Rita Mansour has served as the co-chair of Momentum, a three day long celebration of the community’s arts and culture. Rita takes seriously her commitment to giving back to the community and serving as a board member has helped her to do so.

Rita has received the YWCA Milestone Award for Business (2011) and the Jefferson Award for Public Service (2020). She also recently was named a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts of Ohio (2020).
